SUICIDAL ANGELS Guitarist Quits
October 22, 2012Guitarist Panos Spanos of Greek old-school thrashers SUICIDAL ANGELS has released the following statement:
"After 3.5 years, I have decided to leave SUICIDAL ANGELS. Huge thanks and eternal respect to all of you who have supported me and the band. I will definitely keep myself active in metal scene."
SUICIDAL ANGELS' latest album, "Bloodbath", was released on January 27 via NoiseArt Records. The CD features cover artwork by Ed Repka, who has previously worked with MEGADETH and DEATH, and who was responsible for the cover to last year's "Dead Again".
"Bloodbath" was recorded at Prophecy & Music Factory Studios in Kempten, Germany with Greek producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis, who helmed SUICIDAL ANGELS' last CD and is said to "know better than anyone else which sound the group is looking for."
SUICIDAL ANGELS earlier in the year took part in the "Full Of Hate" tour alongside BEHEMOTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE, LEGION OF THE DAMNED and MISERY INDEX.
